We took the kids to a little street festival over the weekend. One of the highlights was a big inflatable obstacle course/race -- like a moonwalk but with the added attraction of a climbing wall and various other hazards.
After winning his first race, against a tiny girl about half his age, and subsquently losing twice against boys who appeared to be slightly older, Adam looked up at me with a tear in his eye and uttered the following, which I think is good advice for us all....
"I only like to run against little girls. They're easier to beat."
I liked the quote so much I decided to make it into a motivational poster (another idea blatantly ripped off from T&A). Enjoy.
Greetings from sunny Maryland! I think I am going to print that poster and add it to Adam's scrapbook.

J -- let me know if you're going to do that. That's a shrunken and web-optimized version of the image. I'll get you the original, which is of much higher quality.

Also, I'm thinking that perhaps I should photoshop out the two soccer boys and the soccer ball.

To Adam and the little girl: Run, grasshoppers, run!

I wish I had that option as a kid. My PE grades would have been better.
